Website traffic generation.... PT 2

For the second post about driving traffic to your sites, I thought I'd talk about;

#2 Yahoo Answers

Now I'm not too sure yet how well this one works, but it's the same basic principal as the forum marketing. However, I was looking at this method and noticed that lots of people seem to do this, and they do it in a way thats a bit annoying. So like I said with forum marketing, don't obnoxiously post your links. Be helpful and answer a question, then post your link and say something like "if you need more info, take a look at my site". Anyway, give it a try and see how things go.

Website traffic generation...PT 1

Hey everyone,

I thought as for my next post I would go over some ways of generating traffic. It's tough, I know personally. I once had this idea of making a celebrity forum, where members would post pictures using their Share-a-pic galleries. My thinking was that it would have been a great place for members to help each other out, and generate revenue for themselves. Can you guess what happend.... no one joined up. Yeah, a sad and true story. The problem I realized, was I wasn't promoting my forum very well, and thus no one joined up. Also at the time I had my celebrity blog called "Hollywood's Darlings" where I would post pictures of my fave celebs. This one went over a little better. In the forums where I visited I started putting my blog link in my signature, which while I didn't get droves of visitors I began to get a few. This leads into the first tip;

#1 Forum Marketing.

This is a great way to go about promoting your site/blog/ whatever it is you have. The best places to promote are usually the ones that have something to do with your web page. So if you have a car site, do a google search for 'car forums'. Involve yourself in conversations, give helpful advice, just plain build a reputation so people will know and trust you, and all the while have a link to your site in your signature. One thing to NOT DO is spam up the forums you visit with your links as this could result in a banning.

If your just plain lazy like me I also would suggest using a program such as WEB TRAFFIC MACHINES to generate traffic.

MAKING MONEY ONLINE PT. 2

Ok, so for the second part I'm going to talk about another great free site called "My Homepage Friends" which you can find HERE. This used to be called "My Search Funds" but obviously has changed since then. I've been a member there for quite some time now and can say it generates quite a bit more money than Share-a-pic, however payment takes a bit longer but they do pay. What it is, is you basic kind of search engine. All you do is sign up for free (only takes a few minutes) and download the toolbar, which no, won't harm your system at all. From there all you need to do is your simple everyday searches like you normally would and thats it. Simple huh, it really is. The more searches you make the more money you'll earn, which you can make about one to two pounds (did I mention this is a UK site and foreign countries like Canada and the USA are welcome) a day, which if like me you live in North America, will equal out to about double that in either USD or CAD currency. They generally pay out in about a month so you have tons of time to rack up some earnings, and reaching the pay out of 20 pounds is simple enough. So give it try, and you'll be on the fast track to earning that money you want to invest in your internet marketing adventure.

Building a Niche store - Ebay affiliate empire building

Hey all,

So I was thinking for my second post to continue with my 2 part series (if thats what you want to call it lol) about easy money making sites online. However, I found a site a few days ago that really interested me. The site is called..well "Building a Niche store - Ebay affiliate empire building". Yeah kind of a long name, but the concept is the interesting part. The basis of the site is simple, buy the product (called BANS, which simply means 'Building a Niche Site') to build a web store and for those who don't know, Niche means something that appeals to a specific group. So once the site (say its an electronics site) is built it links to products on ebay, which when potential customers come to your niche store and buy products you make a commission from it by being an affiliate of ebay. The best part of the product is that setting up a store is extremely easy and a new site can be built within 15 minutes or so, whether or not your "computer savvy". It really seems like a great way to make some extra income, and why stop at just one site. With the software you can build many, many sites each with it's own Niche and appeal to a very broad customer base, so check the site out it might interest you enough to buy. MAKING MONEY ONLINE..... pt. 1

Its easy enough to do, You just have to know where to start. For almost about two years I've been looking and researching ways to go about making that extra dollar online, and as a college student that extra dollar amount would come in handy. I think for the most part I've tried the main programs out there to try, PTC's, search engines, and whatnot and most of the time they just took to long with no real results (well at least not that much money). I have settled on at least two different programs and try to use them as frequently as I can. The first is Share-a-pic, which is by far the best site to make a few extra buck online....provided you have the time to spend on it. The basis of this site is that you the user upload pictures (whether they be your own, or of your fave celeb, cars, games, movies, ect.) and post thumnailed links in forums, your own blog, or pretty much where ever you can. The result is when people click on a picture, you get PAID!!!! Yes you get FREE MONEY. The best places I find to post is on forums, specificly specialty forums which if you go to the share-a-pic forums themselves you'll find many a place to post. Now like I said it does require some time to be spent on but once you build a nice amount of galleries you'll have tons of oppertunity to get clicks. Better yet, share-a-pic also has a referal system which also get you as the refree (is that even a word?...lol) a percentage of what the referal makes. So the more referals, the more money you can make. All in all, probably the best and most earning potential site on the net and you can find it here at
